What makes this festival so unique is that more than 300 artists and performers donate their time and talent in order to fill our community with free music for the entire day. Band Together for the 10th Annual Keene Music Festival!

Keene, NH -- The KEENE DOWNTOWN GROUP will present the 10th Annual Keene Music Festival on Saturday, September 4, 2010 from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm. Downtown Keene will come alive with free music and entertainment for the entire family.

Performances on numerous stage areas along Main Street will deliver music of all kinds for people of all ages. Come enjoy rhythmic drumming, folk, blues, bluegrass, jazz, rock-n-roll, swing, and much more.

Music starts at 10:00 in the morning on several stages, including Railroad Square, The Central Square Gazebo, United Church of Christ, Art in the Park, Starving Artist, Church Street and The City Tire Company! There are also "sidewalk stage areas" which include, Miller Brother's Alley, Lindy's Diner and Keene Fresh Salad Company. You can also enjoy a concert by the Keene Chamber Orchestra in the evening inside Good Fortune Consignment Store. Admission is free at all venues! Programs will be available on the day of the Music Festival, complete with each stage's line up and a brief description of each artist or band. More than 300 musicians and artists have volunteered their time to make The 2010 Keene Music Festival a unique and very special event. This is an opportunity for area performers to showcase their talents and to play original music before live audiences. Families and individuals will once again have the chance to spend a day in Keene's beautiful Downtown singing, dancing, listening, eating, and enjoying all the unique experiences of The Keene Music Festival.
